Digital content manager and intern

This role includes oversight of multi-media content development and is responsible for collaborating with graphic designers on execution of content plan to reach a range of stakeholder audiences. This person will be responsible for communicating corporate messages, clients’ product and services, events, profiles and industry insights; elevating corporate visibility regionally. This role requires the manager to work closely with the managing director, objectives and strategies with colleagues across internal and external communications.

This position requires a passion for digital media, business communication and journalism. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to build and lead scalable proactive communications programs, with tangible results. Solid media and business understanding, strategic thinking and strong journalistic skills, a deep understanding of our business and client portfolio are crucial. This position is responsible for supporting the development of digital marketing contents for the Singapore and China offices. Excellent written and verbal English is mandatory. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project management of internal newsletters for APAC businesses, from creating the calendar, timeline to sourcing background materials, editing copy and managing templating and distributing using content management software 
  • Copywriting and editing support for marketing collateral including newsletters, brochures, white papers, pop vox, social media snippets and blogs
  • Assisting with web editorial content calendar making and ensure a steady flow of content for E newsletter, social media and website 
  • Make social media copy calendar in partnership with social media manager, in tandem with PR and marketing development plans

PR specialist

Public relations activity and media engagement 

  • Writing media releases and pitches to promote the launch of campaigns, new product/ service launches / business development activities 
  • Maintain media distribution lists and manage media distribution, ensure that the media list is continuously monitored and updated with new and changed media contacts
  • Fostering positive relationships with key contacts across the region
  • Conceptualise and execute PR strategies from a global and local perspective

We are looking for a highly creative innovator, strategic thinker and social media expert who is passionate about building brand advocacy and meaningful communications. You are genuinely excited by the power of content and imagery and the opportunity to build IDEA communication and our clients’ brand through differentiated and inspiring social marketing content and communications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital technology and visual communication and quickly evolve into an industry expert. This role will work in tandem with content and PR team to create buzz in the social media community and oversee pipeline content developments to ensure alignment and update of imaging and messaging. 

Social media activity and online community engagement 

  • Social media: own and execute social campaigns to drive engagement, “word of mouth,” and traffic to site using both non-paid tactics.
  • Development and application of social strategies and architecture to support and drive increased customer engagement, brand advocacy, content marketing, community building, campaign activation, and coordination across earned, owned and paid social.

Wechat manager

As a wechat Manager, your core objective is to build our online customer community through high quality content and real time engagement to help make customers so happy with our brand that they eagerly recommend our brands/services with their personal network. As part friend, part consultant – you nurture our community from being curious to becoming loyal members, even identifying and pouncing on upsell opportunities. This might include blogging, creating social media profiles, managing regular posts and responding to followers. You will be based in our office in Singapore and you will report to the Managing Director.

What you will be doing

  • Create and implement content editorial calendar (in line with the Global and local marketing strategy) to manage content and plan specific timely marketing campaigns.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for Greater China, 
  • Set up profiles, manage content and oversee relevant Chinese social media platforms.
  • Visit our branded social profiles every day to be part of the real-time social conversation about various industrial sectors and business units

  • Develop creative concept and innovative solutions across disciplines and mediums including Visual Identity, Print design, Packaging, POSM, Digital
  • Design website UI UX, brochure, digital magazine, newsletter, infographic, small animation videos, etc in line with the brief

Main purpose:

Accountabilities:
 

  • Build a corporate event calendar by working with Chinese, Singaporean and Western Chamber of Commerce, think tanks, corporations
  • Drive brand Net Revenue and occupancy of mind growth via top-standard delivery of equity and comms plans
  • Support Managing Director by implementing event marketing strategy, increase engagement with corporate C suits, chamber of commerce, universities and media partners.
